Riyadh has condemned the approval of 19 new colonial settlements in the occupied West Bank by Israeli authorities, a move the Kingdom says violates United Nations resolutions.
Saudi Arabia Condemns West Bank Settlement Expansion
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement reiterating a call for the international community to “assume its responsibility to end these violations.”
The Kingdom affirmed its continued support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to establishing an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. This support is in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international resolutions.
