Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Details and Complete Edition Pricing

Action game fans can secure Stellar Blade Complete Edition when it launches globally on Nintendo Switch 2. The Complete Edition carries a price tag of $59.99 / £54.99 / €59.99 / ¥7,980. Korean dev Shift Up showed off the Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade at the Tokyo Game Show last week. Shift Up is releasing the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade worldwide simultaneously on November 6. A physical edition featuring the game on the card will also be available. Pre-orders are now live on the Nintendo eShop and major retailers. Pre-ordering grants early access to exclusive outfits for Eve such as the ‘Planet Diving Suit (White Edition)’, ‘Classic Round Glasses’, and ‘Ear Armor Earrings’, alongside a limited edition SteelBook featuring new key art.

The Switch 2 iteration packages all previously released content, allowing players to jump straight in without any additional downloads. Furthermore, a free demo is now available on the Switch 2 eShop, allowing players to try the game out for themselves ahead of the release. The Complete Edition on Switch 2 will include the previously released NieR: Automata and NIKKE: GODDESS OF VICTORY downloadable contents, as well as the new Bayonetta collaboration. Exclusive bonuses like the Stargazer costumes for Eve, Adam, and Lily are also provided.

Four Free Bayonetta Collaboration Costumes for EVE

Shift Up has revealed all four Stellar Blade Bayonetta outfits in a new Tokyo Game Show 2026 trailer. Ahead of its release in a couple of months on Nintendo Switch 2, developer Shift Up has shared a short vignette showing off the free Bayonetta collaboration costumes that will be added to the game. The good news for fans of the franchise is that free DLC will be released for all versions of the game on 5th November, adding four new costumes inspired by Platinum’s hit action game Bayonetta. The Bayonetta collaboration will also be released on PS5 and PC the same day. The Bayonetta collaboration content will be added through this collaboration, available for free starting November 6 on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and PC, or November 5 according to other references. During its stage show at TGS this weekend, Hyung-Tae Kim introduced the Bayonetta outfit with the help of Japanese cosplayer and model Seika Amakawa, as pictured.

The outfits include:

• Bayonetta: The Bayonetta outfit gives EVE the Umbra Witch’s iconic black costume, complete with gold accents, long gloves, and glasses. However, EVE retains her own appearance instead of becoming a complete Bayonetta character skin.
• Nun: The Nun outfit features a black-and-white costume inspired by Bayonetta’s religious disguise. It is easily one of the most elaborate outfits included in the crossover and looks surprisingly natural within the world of the game.
• Jeanne: Included among the four outfits revealed by Shift Up in the new trailers.
• Black Tresses: Listed as one of the four costumes in all alongside Bayonetta, Nun, and Jeanne.

The costumes are all cosmetic only, so you won’t acquire Bayonetta’s skills. As crossovers go, it makes sense; Stellar Blade and Bayonetta share a similar over-the-top energy, though the latter was kicking bottom a good fifteen years before Stellar Blade debuted. Bayonetta is effectively a Nintendo exclusive and has been since the release of Bayonetta 2.

Platform Rollout and Future Studio Plans

Stellar Blade first launched for PlayStation 5 on April 26, 2024, followed by PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on June 11, 2025. The PlayStation 5 and PC versions are published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The future of humanity hangs by a thread as players experience razor-sharp action, engaging in fast, stylish combat as they carve their way through the ruins of Earth. In an interview with 4Gamer, the director said that the studio hasn’t finished updating the original game yet, and is planning “some changes” that will roll out alongside the release of the sequel, Stellar Blade: Blood Rain.
