The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Saturday eliminated a terrorist involved in attempts to rebuild Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon. The IDF stated the individual’s activities violated existing ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
Hezbollah Infrastructure Targeted
The IDF continues to operate to remove threats to Israel, according to a statement released Saturday. On Friday, the IDF struck infrastructure sites and engineering vehicles used by Hezbollah in the Mazraat al-Daoudiya area of southern Lebanon.
IDF officials noted that the presence of these sites and vehicles, and their use in rebuilding terror infrastructure, also constitute a violation of the ceasefire understandings. The IDF will continue efforts to prevent Hezbollah’s reestablishment in the region.
