With your sacrifices and dedication, you presented a legend that will not be repeated, a military doctrine, and an uncharacteristic steadfastness in principles.
He added: “You tossed the sky with your valor and courage, watered the nation’s pure wealth with your blood and yours, and crushed the groups of takfir and terrorism under your feet.”
He continued: “I salute my brothers and sons on the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the valiant Iraqi army, and we ask God to protect you with His eyes that never sleep and to establish your feet in the shelters of pride and honour.”
