The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority and the legitimate guardian of the Holy Shrine of Hussein, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, confirmed today, Sunday, that the prevailing security in the country is thanks to the innocent blood that was shed to cleanse the land of Iraq.
The media of the Holy Imam Hussain Shrine stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “the representative of the supreme religious authority and the legitimate guardian of the Holy Imam Hussain Shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, received a group of martyrs’ sons who fulfilled the fatwa (Sufficient Defense), coinciding with Victory Day.” “The anniversary of the victory over terrorist gangs and the cleansing of the land of Iraq.”
Sheikh Al-Karbalai stressed that “the situation we are in now and the prevailing security in the country is thanks to this pure blood that your fathers sacrificed,” expressing his hope that “you will follow the path of guidance and the path of truth as your fathers did.”
He added, “We are proud of you and your honorable families who have given birth to such heroes, and we hope that you will follow this approach.”
He continued, “Just as you called and responded (At your service, O Hussein), these words are a response and support for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) when he called (There is no helper to help us), your fathers supported Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and likewise when we say during the visit (I wish we had been with them so we would have won a great victory) Such were the wishes of the martyrs and their sincere response. Therefore, they sacrificed their blood in response to the fatwa of the supreme religious authority in Najaf Al-Ashraf, the fatwa of the supreme authority, Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani, which preserved the security of Iraq and its sanctities.
He explained, “We hope that you will follow this path and be heroes in the future, always supporting the truth.”
It is noteworthy that the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine, through the translation of the directives of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority and its legal guardian, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, and since the launch of the fatwa (Sufficient Defense) until now, it sponsors, cares, and provides all humanitarian assistance at all levels to the families and children of the martyrs from the north to the south.
