Rojs Rodžerss norāda, ka viņš ir bijis aktīvists šajā ziņā, taču atzīst, ka saistībā ar to ir nācies nonākt nepatīkamās situācijās. Kāda politiķe savā “Facebook” profilā ielikusi bildi ar Roju Rodžersu no Praida un cilvēki atpazinuši, ka tas ir viņš. Pēc tam viņš saņēma nāves draudus un norāda, ka tas bijis visai biedējoši. Daudziem jauniešiem trūkst ticības, ka politikā var ko mainīt. Sarunas dalībnieki spriež par to, ka politikas kandidātu vidējais vecums aug un kandidātu, kuru vecums ir zem 40 gadiem īpatsvars ir visai zems. Tiek norādīts arī tas, ka skolās par politikas tēmu tiek mācīts virspusēji, līdz ar to veidojas sistemātiski robi izglītībā. Cilvēku prāti ir aizņemti ar izdzīvošanu, līdz ar to politika savā ziņā kļūst par luksusa interesi un sabiedrībai ir sajūta, ka tās pašas sejas nemainās. Sarunas laikā izskan secinājums, ka nacionālajām partijām trūkst reģionālo nodaļu un jauniešu organizāciju. Tāpat arī komunikācija ar jauniešiem ir visai neveikla un plakātu kampaņas vairāk tiek pamanītas, nekā izprastas.
