Argentine Javier Zanetti, Vice President of Inter Milan, nominated 3 clubs to win the Champions League this season.
The Champions League quarter-final draw, which was held yesterday, Monday, in the Swiss city of Nyon, resulted in Inter Milan facing Atletico Madrid.
Inter Milan will meet Atletico Madrid on February 20 in the first leg at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, and they will play again on March 13 in the return match at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Javier Zanetti expressed his great enthusiasm for this confrontation, and said in statements to the Toto Mercato Web network: “Atletico Madrid enjoys the spirit of their coach, Simeone.”
He added: “Here at Inter, he left his mark as a player. I consider him a friend. It would be great to challenge him, and we want to make the tournament difficult for everyone.”
He concluded: “But the candidates to win the title are Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.”
