Two contemporary art groups in the Madona region of Latvia, festival “Optižūns” and MABOCA (Madona Bunch of Cool Art), are preparing to launch an immersive group exhibition titled “Pičiņu pačiņu” (‘Little by little’). The exhibition will open to the public on January 17th at 6:00 PM at the MABOCA gallery “Visuma centrs 2”.
“Pičiņu pačiņu” Exhibition Details
The exhibition features works by a diverse range of artists. Organizers state the technical and conceptual diversity, united by Jānis Golubovs’ texts inspired by Vilis Plūdonis’ poem “Zaķīšu pirtiņa”, will offer visitors a varied contemporary art experience, inviting them into an “artists’ bathhouse.”
The opening event will include performances by the performance association “Briežrags”, exhibition curator Raivo Mihailovs with Vija Moori, and DJ HotGlue. The exhibition will remain on view until February 20th.
