A fire erupted on the roof of a downtown Toronto building Tuesday afternoon, followed by an explosion involving propane tanks. Fire crews have extinguished the blaze, and no injuries have been reported.

Emergency crews responded to the scene near Front Street West and Blue Jays Way shortly after 1:30 p.m. EDT. Video footage captured an explosion on the building’s roof, with flames and smoke visible from a distance.
The fire involved multiple propane cylinders, which exploded as firefighters battled the blaze. Crews were able to knock down the fire, preventing it from spreading to adjacent structures.
The building is located just blocks from the Rogers Centre. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident. The area was briefly closed to traffic as crews worked to contain the fire and ensure the scene was safe.
