Shusha continued, “Roles were distributed within the governorate’s sectors to deal with the current situation in the Gaza Strip, and ambulances were deployed in preparation to receive those injured as a result of the Israeli aggression. The state of maximum preparedness was also raised in the governorate’s hospitals in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, which made a great effort in this regard.” .
He pointed out that “injured Palestinians are received on a daily basis and are given the choice between treatment in Egypt or abroad,” noting that “since the beginning of the crisis, about 192 patients have left abroad to receive treatment in other countries such as Qatar, the Emirates, Jordan, and Turkey, and most of them suffer from chronic medical conditions such as cancer.”
Shousha pointed out that “the governorate provided all possible facilities to establish a water desalination plant initiated by the United Arab Emirates and adopted the implementation of the water desalination project and sending it through the Rafah crossing to the Palestinian territories. The water desalination plant was donated by the UAE to desalinate and purify water near the crossing.” To facilitate its access to the Gaza Strip, this station is located at the meeting point of the Egyptian border with the Gaza Strip at the Mediterranean Sea.

Rashid added in a statement to the (INA), that “between 40 and 50 infected cases are transferred daily, most of them children, and are distributed.”
In turn, the head of the city of Rafah, Major General Gamal Abdel Nasser, stressed that “Egypt is sparing no effort in providing all support to the Palestinian cause,” noting that “all sectors of the Egyptian state have been working in full swing since the first moment of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and in coordination between all parties to achieve means of medical care.” And therapeutic, diplomatic and political support for the Palestinian cause.”
