Fire at LPG filling station in Indonesia’s Bekasi injures 12-Xinhua

A fire erupted Wednesday night at a bulk LPG filling station in Cimuning, Bekasi City, West Java Province, Indonesia, injuring 12 people, authorities reported Thursday.

LPG Station Fire Injures Dozens in Indonesia

The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. local time at a facility located in the Mustikajaya district. Firefighters from multiple stations, along with assistance from local residents, worked for several hours to control the blaze.

All 12 victims sustained burn injuries and are currently receiving intensive medical care. The fire affected both workers at the LPG facility and residents in the surrounding area, according to police.

Authorities are continuing to gather information regarding the victims and have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
