A cyclist was airlifted to a Christchurch hospital in serious condition following a collision with a car this afternoon.
Christchurch Akaroa Road Crash
Police were alerted to the crash at 2:30 p.m. on State Highway 75, near French Farm, at the intersection of Summit Road.
Hato Hone St John responded at 2:27 p.m. and assessed and treated one patient before they were transported by air to Christchurch hospital.
Traffic management was initially in place, but both lanes have since reopened, according to police.
