The Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kazem, confirmed today, Thursday, the imminent opening of the Fine Arts Bridge, indicating that it will be the first project to relieve traffic congestion to enter service this year.

The secretariat stated in a statement, received by the (INA), that “The Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kadhim, reviewed the final touches to develop the approaches to the Academy of Fine Arts bridge in the center of the capital, Baghdad, in preparation for its opening as the first of the projects to relieve traffic congestion during the current year, which he launched.” Prime Minister”.
The statement quoted Al-Amin as saying: “Today, together with the directors of the municipalities of Al-Rusafa Center and Al-Adhamiya, we reviewed in the field the final touches to the completion of the Fine Arts Bridge, which was implemented by the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, with the development of the approaches surrounding it as part of the first package to relieve traffic congestion that was launched by the Secretary-General. Prime Minister “.
He added, “This bridge will enter service within a few days, as the first project in a package of projects to relieve traffic congestion in Baghdad, and today it is witnessing the work of planting the approaches and covering the four streets overlooking it.”
He pointed out, “The year 2024, as the Prime Minister called it, is the year of achievements, and the projects launched by his state will be completed successively, along with the projects of the Baghdad Municipality to facilitate traffic in the areas of the capital, Baghdad.”
