Baghdad – INA – Fatima Rahma
The Arab Theater Authority organized a book fair, within the framework of the activities of the Fourteenth Arab Theater Festival, in the Al-Rashid Theater Hall.

The exhibition’s official, Amal Ghossein, told the (INA), that “the exhibition is an established tradition in every Arab festival,” stressing that “the number of books displayed here in the Baghdad session is 300 titles, including studies and translations, the winning texts of the authorship competition, which are for adults and children, texts A play by Arab writers, theatrical documents and culture, and the Arab Theater Magazine. Books are for sale, but at reduced prices, especially for students, as they are sold at a discount.”
She added, “The exhibition was held under the supervision of the advisor to the Arab Theater Authority, Youssef Aidabi, who contributed to the selection and decision of publication according to topics and not names. Usually, they do not recruit anyone and do not specify the writing on a specific topic. They receive topics for dissertations and dissertations (doctoral and master’s degrees) from entities and individuals, and they pay for it.” To the publishing committee, they usually prefer to find new and fresh writings and not purely academic ones because not all people read them, because they are dry.”
