Today, Thursday, the Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, announced facilities to advance the pharmaceutical sector in Iraq.
The Ministry of Health stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “Minister of Health Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi chaired a meeting at the Ministry’s headquarters with the owners of national pharmaceutical factories in the private sector, in the presence of a number of officials and general directors in the Ministry today, Thursday, January 18, 2024.”
Al-Hasnawi stressed, according to the statement, “the importance of paying attention to and supporting the national product and developing the pharmaceutical industry, which is among the priorities of the government program.”
He pointed out that “the Ministry of Health provided unprecedented support to owners of national pharmaceutical factories through a series of facilities that contributed significantly to the advancement of the pharmaceutical sector,” calling on them to “take advantage of these facilities and open new production lines in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the private sector while ensuring quality.”
