Today, Tuesday, Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi revealed two major projects to produce cancer and biological medicines.
Al-Hasnawi told the (INA): “Pharmaceutical manufacturing has begun to accelerate, and there is a great demand from investors to establish pharmaceutical factories, and the facilities provided by the government and the Ministry of Health are very great.”
He added, “We have two major projects: the first is expanding the production of cancer drugs by the private sector, and the second is happening for the first time in Iraq through the production of alternative biological drugs.”
He continued, “We granted approval for one drug, and we will approve more in the future in cooperation between the Iraqi private sector and the foreign private sector, in addition to the manufacture of general medicines and nutritional liquids.”
The Minister of Health confirmed, “There are many projects, some of which will open soon, others under construction, and some of which have received permission to establish factories.”
