Today, Tuesday, Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi issued new directives regarding the trips of our national team fans to Qatar.
Al-Saadawi said in a statement received by the (INA): “Six flights have been allocated for the Iraqi fans on board the Green Bird, in the first round of the Asian Cup,” stressing that “they will be subject to increase if the number of fans wishing to travel to the country increases.” Qatar”.
Al-Saadawi added, “The Ministry has prepared a proactive plan in the event that the Mesopotamian Lions qualify for the second round, commensurate with the size of the audience supporting the national team, in light of reducing travel ticket prices by more than 50 percent.”
He pointed out that “the number of travelers to Qatar to attend the Mesopotamia Lions matches in the Asian Cup reached 960 passengers, with six flights for the days: 15/18/19/20/24/25.”
He noted that “The General Company for Iraqi Airlines allocated a modern B737 Max aircraft, equipped with an Internet system, in order to provide better services to travelers.”
He pointed out that “the price of the ticket reached 685 thousand dinars, while the price of the other airlines is no less than 1,200 dollars.”
