The electoral silence period in the 2024 Egyptian presidential elections began at midnight on Thursday, during which electoral propaganda for candidates inside the country stops throughout the day, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday.
According to what Egyptian media reported: “During the period of electoral silence, the Egyptian media works to educate voters by mobilizing them in the direction of participating in the elections and not in the interest of a specific candidate, in addition to talking about the importance of participation, the form of the electoral paper, how to vote, places of voting, electoral committees, and the role of committees.” The judiciary supervising elections and other educational information.
For his part, the Director of the Executive Branch of the National Elections Authority, Counselor Ahmed Bandari, confirmed earlier that the Authority has completed all necessary preparations to hold the presidential elections inside the country, on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of next week.
He pointed out that the number of sub-polling committees in front of which citizens will cast their votes is 11,631 committees inside 9,376 electoral centers, including schools, youth centers, and health units.
The presidential election marathon for next year, 2024, begins in two days. The presidential elections will continue for three days in Egypt, and four candidates will compete.
The electoral process for the 2024 presidential elections is scheduled to begin domestically next Sunday, December 10 of this month, and will continue for three days.
