The Arab Wrestling Championship for the national teams begins today, Friday, with the free and Romanian events, which will be hosted by the People’s Hall on the eighth and ninth of this month in Baghdad, with the participation of 8 teams.
A statement by the media office of the Football Association, received by the (INA), stated that “the participating Arab teams are (Algeria, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, Syria, Qatar, Egypt).”
The statement added: “This tournament is expected to be one of the most distinguished tournaments given the level of the participating teams, which has witnessed great development in recent years.”
He stated, “The Iraqi Federation provided all the requirements for the success of the tournament in order for this beautiful sports carnival hosted by the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, to be dazzling in every way.”
