His first year in New York hit a major roadblock in early May 2025 when he suffered a torn left lat muscle requiring surgery, coming on the heels of left hip labrum surgery in 2024. Despite those lengthy absences, Minter returned to the mound at the end of May and reestablished himself as a vital piece of New York’s late-inning relief tandem.
