Today, Thursday, the ninth round of the Iraq Stars League witnessed the holding of three matches, with Najaf and Erbil winning two of them in their favour, while the third match was tied in a goalless draw.
The correspondent of the (INA) said: “The ninth round of the Iraq Stars League witnessed three matches being held in Baghdad, Basra and Kut, as the victory was decided in two of them, while the third match ended in a goalless draw.”
He added, “The first match witnessed a meeting between Amanat Baghdad, the owner of the land and the public, with the Najaf team, which ended with the latter’s victory (2/1). With this result, Najaf raised its score to 10 points in 14th place, while Amanat Baghdad fell to 19th place with seven.” points”.
He stated, “The second match, in which Erbil achieved a valuable victory over its host Al-Mina’a with a score of (3-0), in the match that took place at Al-Fayhaa Stadium in the city of Basra, and with this result, Erbil reached its tenth point, advancing to 12th place, while Al-Mina’a’s balance froze.” With 10 points, it drops to 13th place.”
He continued, “In the third match, a goalless draw decided the match between Al-Qassim and its guest Al-Karkh, which took place at Al-Kout Stadium. With this tie, Al-Qassim raised its score to 11 points in ninth place, while Al-Karkh raised its score to 10 points in 11th place.”
