The Punjab government has launched Pakistan’s first virtual women police station in Lahore to streamline the process of reporting harassment and seeking protection.
The initiative is a response to the harassment women frequently face in both public and private spaces across the country.
Reporting Options for the Virtual Women Police Station
The virtual police station provides multiple accessible channels for women to register complaints. The most direct option is the emergency helpline 15.
Additionally, victims can file reports through the Safe Cities web portal or utilize the live chat features available on the Safety App.
To further facilitate reporting, the government has also enabled live video calls between victims and officials.
