The United States topped the list of countries in terms of the number of deaths due to the virus, with 697,840 deaths, and the total number of infections reached 43,459,200.
Brazil followed in second place in terms of the number of deaths, with 596,749 deaths, and a total of 21,427,073 infections.
India comes in third place with a total of 448,062 deaths and a total of 33,739,980 infections.
Mexico ranked fourth in terms of the number of deaths with 276,973 and a total of 3,655,395 infections.
In fifth place is Russia, with a total of 203,549 deaths and a total of 7,401,104 infections.
Peru ranks sixth with a total of 199,367 deaths and a total of 2,175,305 infections.
In seventh place is Indonesia, with a total of 141,939 deaths and a total of 4,215,104 infections.
In eighth place is Britain, with a total of 137,043 deaths and a total of 7,843,887 infections.
In ninth place is Italy, with a total of 130,921 deaths and a total of 4,672,355 infections.
It was followed in tenth place by Colombia, with a total of 126,299 deaths and a total of 4,957,277 infections.
