Darragh McDonagh of Kiltimagh, County Mayo, has passed away peacefully after an illness, surrounded by his family. He was cared for by the staff at St Joseph’s Ward, University Hospital Galway.

McDonagh is predeceased by his grandparents Liam and Eileen McDonagh of Kiltimagh, and Tommie Joe Byrne of Cloonterrif, Knock.
He is survived by his parents, John & Marie McDonagh; his brothers, Cathal and Ronan; his grandmother, Mary Byrne of Cloonterrif, Knock; aunts Deirdre Kearns, Geraldine Donnellan, Nuala Wilker, Breda Hickey and Louise Byrne; uncles Ronan McDonagh, Dominick Byrne and Liam Byrne; and numerous cousins and extended family and friends.
Reposing will take place at the family home in Cois Abhann, Kiltimagh (F12 H264) on Saturday evening from 4pm to 8 pm.
The funeral cortège will depart the family home on Sunday afternoon at 12:40 pm, arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh for Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow immediately in Kilkinure Cemetery.
