Iraq sends a new batch of relief materials to the Gaza Strip »

Advisor to the Prime Minister, Zidane Khalaf, confirmed today, Saturday, that a new batch of relief materials had been sent to Gaza, under the direction of the Prime Minister.

Khalaf told the (INA): “The fundraising committee for the Palestinian people sent the seventh batch of relief, food and medical materials to the Gaza Strip,” noting that “the total relief and medical materials sent were about 90 tons, in addition to 10 million liters of fuel from the port of Khor Al-Zubayr from Basra to the Suez Canal.

He added, “The process of sending relief meals to the Palestinian people will continue in implementation of the Prime Minister’s order via the air bridge between Iraq and Egypt and in coordination with the Egyptian authorities in preparation for sending the materials through the Rafah crossing.”

In turn, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, confirmed to the (INA) “the allocation of a plane c130 From the Iraqi Air Force to send relief materials to the Palestinian people with a load of 15 tons to Al-Arish Airport,” noting that “the number of military aircraft sent to Al-Arish Airport reached 9 aircraft, with 7 flights.”
