Israeli strikes across Gaza have killed at least seven Palestinians, with separate attacks hitting medicine warehouses beside a hospital that officials say is a lifeline for the region. The attacks took place on Saturday, days after Hamas and other Palestinian factions signed a disarmament agreement the United States has called a breakthrough toward ending the war. Israel has repeatedly violated the “ceasefire” technically in place since October 10, 2025, killing more than 1,200 Palestinians since then.
Israeli strikes in Sheikh Radwan and Deir al-Balah
Israeli strikes on Gaza continue for second day after Trump announces Hamas disarmament deal. Palestinian health officials said two Palestinians were killed in the Sheikh Radwan area of Gaza City in central Gaza in an Israeli air strike. A military spokesperson said those targeted were Hamas militants but declined to provide further details.
An Israeli drone attack killed two people in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood, according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, which cited al-Shifa Hospital, where the casualties were taken along with several wounded. A drone strike in Deir al-Balah killed one person, hospital sources told Al Jazeera Arabic, while another Palestinian was killed in a strike on a tent near a school in al-Mawasi, north of Khan Younis. Later, two more Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike that targeted the rooftop of a house in the al-Reis area in the southern part of Gaza City.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital medical warehouses destroyed
In an earlier incident, an Israeli air strike destroyed two warehouses that were used to store medicine by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in southern Gaza, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said in a statement. Several hours after the strike, the Israeli military said it had struck a Hamas hideout near the hospital, which the group used to store weapons.
Bombing caused loss of precious intravenous solutions, medicines, and supplies used in vital departments, including dialysis and intensive care, a hospital spokesperson told Anadolu. ‘Around 1,000 displaced people lived here, and 50 to 60 tents were completely destroyed,’ a displaced Palestinian told Anadolu. Israeli fighter jets struck medical warehouses near a hospital in the central Gaza Strip early Saturday, destroying at least half of the facilities and extensively damaging nearby tents sheltering displaced Palestinians, witnesses said.

Witnesses told Anadolu that the Israeli army targeted the warehouses next to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, completely destroying two of them and the critical medical supplies within and setting fire to dozens of tents erected nearby. The attack caused fear and panic among patients, displaced people, and residents in the vicinity of the hospital, they added. There were no immediate reports of casualties. According to the witnesses, the Israeli army issued an evacuation warning for the area only minutes before the strike.
Donald Trump and Hamas disarmament agreement
Gaza authorities said that seven people were killed in Israeli strikes Saturday that also damaged a hospital’s medical supplies, a day after Hamas said it agreed to the latest stage of a deal to end the war. The Israeli military, for its part, said it had struck Hamas weapons depots as Israel insists on verifying that the group behind the October 7, 2023, attacks is disarmed. The strikes come a day after Hamas said it had agreed to the latest phase in a deal championed by US President Donald Trump that includes provisions for handing over its weapons and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.

Israel has yet to officially comment on the agreement, but a political source has told AFP that there will be no withdrawal whatsoever
without Hamas’s genuine disarmament
. Mahmoud Basal, a spokesman for Gaza’s civil defence agency, told AFP that seven people were killed and several others injured across the Gaza Strip since dawn Saturday.
