Dorit Kemsley and her estranged husband PK are locked in a bitter dispute over a potential foreclosure on their Los Angeles home, with PK filing court documents on August 4, 2026, attacking Dorit for an extended European vacation and heavy luxury spending while debt mounts.
Court Filing Alleges European Vacation Amid Home Financial Crisis
The financial standoff between the reality television stars has escalated into a public court battle over control of their shared assets. PK filed new legal documents claiming that his estranged wife departed for an extended European vacation lasting a minimum of three weeks, leaving their two children, Jagger and Phoenix, in Florida with her parents and a nanny.
According to the court filing, the businessman argued that Dorit has prioritized personal travel over addressing the urgent financial crisis facing their family home. PK alleged that neither the children nor the nanny were informed of her return date, leaving their whereabouts and schedule uncertain.
The estranged couple's 6-bedroom, 10-bathroom Los Angeles-area estate, valued at approximately $8 million, sits dangerously close to a foreclosure auction. PK is asking a judge to grant him sole authority to sell the property before the lender steps in to force an auction within weeks.
“PK claims he recently put up $300K of his own funds to pay mortgage arrears to prevent foreclosure … after Dorit agreed she would sign a deal to reimburse him from any sale of the home.”

Clashing Claims Over Luxury Spending and Mortgage Payments
The core of the legal dispute involves accusations of massive spending and financial non-cooperation. PK claimed in court documents that Dorit spent over $1 million on travel and designer clothes, specifically pointing to wardrobe-related expenses totaling $995,270 between December 2024 and March 2026. The filings cited charges including $69,000 each at Louis Vuitton and Chanel, $38,000 at Hermès, and $22,000 at Saint Honore.
Dorit fired back against the allegations. The reality television star scoffed at PK's claim that she blew close to $1 million on clothes, pointing out that she also returned items. Taking to Instagram in June, she defended her lifestyle, writing, Do I love fashion? Yes. Do I spend a lot of money on clothes? Expensive clothes? Designer clothes? Yes. It is my choice. It is also my money. It’s my money that I earn, that I work for. Not his money.
While PK argued that Dorit failed to make mortgage payments despite pulling in substantial checks from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit countered that PK manufactured an emergency in an effort to kick her out of the home and sell it off. She maintained that he possesses the funds to cover the unpaid balance as well as monthly child and spousal support.
Private Emails Reveal Tensions Over Family Finances and Parenting
Messages sent months after the couple's initial split illustrate the deep personal strain behind the legal filings. TMZ obtained an email sent by PK to Dorit on June 26, 2024, in which he urged her to work with him to reduce household expenses.

“Last week, I sent you a respectful and straightforward text email noting that our current expenses are not sustainable and will be devastating to our family if not promptly addressed and rectified.”

The correspondence also exposed friction regarding access to their children. PK accused Dorit of depriving him of meaningful time with Jagger and Phoenix, noting that his attempts to see them were frequently met with responses that nannies or grandparents were handling their care.

“It is simply unacceptable that I am being deprived of spending meaningful time with our children, especially given that you are not available to be their caretaker while filming (or during your upcoming travels with other cast members) and that you have instead chosen to delegate these responsibilities to others.”

In response to his complaints about cash flow, PK told Dorit in the messages that you can use your own income for cash withdrawals and to pay for your credit cards,
noting that he maintains responsibility for the bills on his own cards.
The Long Road From a Decade of Marriage to Contentious Divorce
The public sparring stands in sharp contrast to the united front the couple presented when they initially announced their separation in May 2024 after nearly a decade of marriage. In their original joint statement, the pair emphasized a mutual decision to take time apart to safe guard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children.
Legal proceedings accelerated when Dorit filed to legally end the union in April of the following year. As the legal battle over their multi-million dollar estate and spending habits continues, PK has moved on with new partner Tatiana Kharchylava, while Dorit continues to balance her television career, co-parenting responsibilities, and ongoing disputes over the future of the family home.
