Today, Thursday, the Anbar Health Department counted the achievements achieved during the current year, while noting the completion and opening of 4 hospitals in the governorate.
The director general of the department, Khudair Khalaf Shalal, told the (INA), “The Anbar Health Department completed many projects during the current year, including the reconstruction of the Ramadi Teaching Hospital with a capacity of 460 beds, and a modern hospital with a capacity of 200 beds, which has been completed and is awaiting the last batch of work.” Medical and office equipment, in addition to the near completion of the 200-bed Hit Hospital and the 100-bed Al-Karma Hospital, which have reached advanced completion rates.”
He explained, “A qualitative leap was added to the specialized services through the establishment and reconstruction of the specialized centers affiliated with the Anbar Health Department, which are (specialized centers for cardiac surgery and catheter intervention, the cardiovascular surgery center, in addition to the burns and plastic surgery center, the Anbar center for treating cancerous tumors, and the artificial kidney center.” In addition to the specialized center for fertility and IVF,” he noted, “the opening of a large number of health centers in various cities of the governorate to provide primary health services there, including the industrial neighborhood health center, the residential neighborhood health center, and the Karabila health center, in addition to the 14 Ramadan health center and the neighborhood health center.” Al-Amin and Kabaisa Health Centre.
He added, “The building of the Anbar Health Department Center, which consists of five floors, was reconstructed,” noting that “these efforts came through the solidarity of the work team of the Anbar Health Department in light of the great challenges, whether financial or security, in addition to some other technical and logistical obstacles.” “.
