French club Paris Saint-Germain is facing a crisis led by Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi, the team’s right-back.
In this regard, the French network Canal Sporter reported that PSG is threatened by Hakimi’s absence from facing Toulouse in the French Super Cup.
She indicated that the French Super Cup match will be held next January 3 at the Princes Park Stadium.
She explained that Achraf Hakimi and Lee Kang-in are about to join the Moroccan and South Korean national teams on the second of next month, to participate in the African Cup of Nations and the Asian Cup of Nations.
She confirmed that the Parisian club has already begun intensive discussions with the Moroccan and South Korean federations to retain players in the Super Cup.
She continued: “Lee Kang-in’s chances are guaranteed after the player informed the South Korean Football Association of his desire to play in the Paris match against Toulouse.”
It was reported that Lee Kang will fly directly after the meeting to Abu Dhabi to join the South Korean national team camp before the Asian World Cup, which will be held in Qatar.
On the other hand, Le Parisien newspaper reported that Hakimi’s position remains unresolved and complicated, and his participation against Toulouse is not 100% certain.
She concluded her report by saying that Walid Regragui, the coach of the Moroccan national team, has been committed to the presence of all players since the first day of the Atlas Lions camp on the second of next January.
