A Syrian military source announced that the Zionist entity carried out an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan on a number of points in the Damascus countryside.
The military source said: “At dawn today, Tuesday, the Zionist enemy carried out an air attack from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of points in the Damascus countryside.”
He added, “The aggression resulted in some material damage.”
On December 29, the Syrian Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defenses responded to two attacks in the southern region and around the capital, Damascus.
Syria called on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to bear responsibility and put an end to the aggressive Zionist policies that threaten to ignite the region and push it towards a comprehensive escalation that threatens regional and international peace and security.
