The Department of Agricultural Investments announced today, Wednesday, that it has developed a program to support investors that includes simplifying procedures, while confirming the existence of ongoing work to finalize the draft agricultural investment law, explaining at the same time the most important gains expected from the public-private partnership law.
Director General of the Department affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture, Iyad Al-Bulani, told the (INA): “The Ministry is in the process of finalizing a draft proposal for the agricultural investment law, which is an urgent necessity for the advancement of the agricultural sector.”
Al-Bolani pointed out, “The government program called for supporting serious investors and simplifying procedures, and the Agricultural Investments Department developed a program for that.”
On the other hand, he continued, “Enacting the law on partnership between the public and private sectors, which is centrally funded and is currently being studied, will contribute to the operation of many stalled agricultural projects that need funding to advance them.”
