The Federation of Chambers of Commerce announced on Sunday that the current session of the Baghdad International Fair gave an impression of Iraq’s economic recovery, while indicating the government’s support for the private sector and changing many regulations and laws to support it.
The head of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Abdul Razzaq Al-Zuhairi, told the (INA): “The opening of the Baghdad International Fair in its current session is an event that shows that Iraq has recovered strongly, especially with the large numbers of participating countries that paint a positive picture towards an economically developed Iraq in all fields.” “.
He explained, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated with 140 companies, which gave the greatest impetus for work on the current session of the exhibition to be different from previous years in terms of performance and organization of companies’ entry,” noting that “for the first time, large-sized Iraqi companies, including commercial companies, entered the exhibition.” Tourism and industrial.
He added, “The government gave priority in the government program to the private sector,” noting that “the country’s economic development begins with exhibitions and conferences, as they result in the signing of agreements.”
He stressed that “the Prime Minister is the first supporter of the private sector in all fields and supports its forums, which led to changing many regulations and laws, in addition to changing the tax and customs laws and supporting banks and banks,” pointing out that “within one year the government was able to change the standards Support the private sector.
