The struggle of a young boy with terminal brain cancer has inspired his community to come together to celebrate his life and give him an early Christmas party.

2-year-old Brody Allen was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer in May 2018. After the treatments did not work, the doctors gave him a short time to live. Allen's story became viral, leading people in his community and beyond to him.

Allen may not enjoy December, so his family and friends gathered to give him a special, early Christmas. Everywhere on his street, neighbors decorated their homes with Christmas lights and displays. Community members hosted a charity dinner and surprised Allen with a visit from Santa at the event.

Allen's family says he has also received tons of mail from people around the world who want to send him their best wishes.
