The exceptional handling necessitated cutting train traffic. On Saturday evening, the bend in the bridge reserved for the future Citézen bus network was laid above the railway tracks at Thionville station. One of the most imposing cranes in Europe lifted the 320 tons of this part, extended over 40 meters in length and 17 meters in width. The operation lasted all night. Once the bend was down to the centimeter, everything had to be adjusted, balanced. Welding work will start next week. The construction site is still far from being finished.
