Actress 45 years after breakthrough in the hit film ‘Grease’ unrecognizable | Stars

The loosehead was the instigator of the first, awkward, encounter between characters Danny (John Travolta) and Sandy (Olivia Newton John) after their romance – Oh, Those Summer Nights… She herself had her own concerns: was she pregnant or not in the world-famous racing monster Greased Lightnin’?

We’re talking about Greasestar (Betty) Rizzo, memorably styled by Stockard Channing. The actress was already 34 (!) when she played an 18-year-old student in the 1978 movie. She was allowed to blow out 79 candles last February. At least, if that was still possible with her face.

In the US it has been whispered for years that a lavish plastic surgeon is taking care of the former Rizzo. A metamorphosis that makes many fans of the legendary film long for the past, when her face was still ‘very ordinary’…
