Among the superstars at the award ceremony, which celebrates the best in film and television, were The Dropout-current Amanda Seyfried.
Impressed on the red carpet
She took home the award for Best Actress in a Miniseries for her role as Elizabeth Holmes in The Dropout.
But when she went up on stage to receive the award, it was clear that something was not right. Seyfried had a good hold around her dress so that it wouldn’t slip off her shoulders, writes Elle.

The Dropout also received the award for Best Miniseries later that evening, and when Seyfried was going on stage again with the cast and crew from the film, she was wearing a black leather jacket over the dress.
She later told Access Hollywood that the dress actually ripped during the award ceremony.
Made his Golden Globe debut
Seyfried wore a gold Dior gown from the French luxury fashion house’s archives. She styled it with matching gold high-heeled sandals and a statement necklace.

Amanda was wearing a beautiful white Dior dress with a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit when the unfortunate incident occurred. As she posed for the cameras, the fabric of the dress suddenly ripped open, revealing her underwear.
The actress, however, didn’t miss a beat. She quickly grabbed the fabric and held it together while continuing to smile for the cameras. Her quick thinking and lightning-fast reaction saved her from any potential embarrassment and made her look like a total pro.
