Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala praised Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. Chennithala said that Arif Muhammad Khan is a person who upholds Gandhian ideals and works. All activities of the Governor are based on Gandhian ideals. Chennithala said that he has known him personally for many years. Chennithala’s remarks were made at the Balatarangam program organized in collaboration with National Balatarangam Kerala Gandhi Smriti.
Chennithala has described him as a Gandhian when both the ruling party and the opposition are saying that the governor is a member of the RSS. The Governor himself has made it clear that he has been associated with the RSS for years. On the first day of the assembly session, the opposition had alleged that the governor and the government were colluding.
