“There was a moment near the end of the movie, where we were really trying to make that moment work, on top of the Statue of Liberty. Tom Holland was having a hard time with the script, before the reshoots. And then we did the reshoots and I came up with this idea, to show that I love him, I didn’t want him to make the sacrifice of being forgotten. Jon Watts was like, ‘That’s going to be in the movie.’ And I was like, ‘Okay, great. That’s great”commented.

“You throw yourself into those huge sand pits. The remarkable thing I learned from Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. in Avengers: Infinity War was seeing how comfortable they were, just improvising on Aunt May. They did this thing that wasn’t scripted at all. I’m a pretty canon guy. It’s all about the text for me. Being free with that and having some maneuverability and being able to improvise on a big canvas was a real eye-opener.”added the renowned actor.
