Cartagena adds 69 new infections of COVID-19 | THE UNIVERSAL

This Saturday, October 17, the Ministry of Health reported 69 new infections of COVID-19 in Cartagena, which raised the number of total cases to 24,853.

The health entity confirmed this Saturday there were no deaths in the city, so the figure remains at 570.


In the department, 19 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, bringing the total number of cases to 6,357.

In the municipalities of Bolívar, 3 deaths from the virus were reported. A 98-year-old man who lived in Soplaviento had hypothyroidism; An 82-year-old man who lived in Simití, comorbidities under study, and a 47-year-old woman who lived in Río Viejo and presented hypertension.

It should be noted that of the municipalities of Bolívar, not counting Cartagena, the most affected by the coronavirus are Magangué, Turbaco and Arjona.
