The famous man, like thousands of Colombians, went through a traumatic experience after an attempted robbery.

Diego has spoken about the issue in various media such as Good morning Colombia, Time and Snail News.

The events happened after one of his performances at the La Castellana National Theater and he was with another famous comedian: Tato Devia.

According to his account, after the performance they got into a truck and drove to the Salitre. There they made a stop, near the residential complex where Tato lives, and began to talk about the function, the good things and what had to be adjusted.

It was then that several armed men appeared, who entered the vehicle, pointed guns at them and asked for control to turn it on and take it away.

In the midst of nerves and fright, Diego decided to oppose the robbery and for that reason, he was beaten by one of the men.

“One started hitting me with the gun from all sides. It hit me one hundred, it blew my head off and hit me on the back of the neck a lot, “said Diego in a live over time.

In addition, he added that: “I have like four bumps on the back (of my head). There is one that is still open and still bleeds a little bit ”.

When they did not find the control, the criminals took only the cell phones of the comedians, ran away and fled after getting into a car.

Fortunately, both comedians were unharmed and made it home safely.

At the end of all his conversations with the media, Diego left a clear message: report in time for the proper investigations and arrests to be made.
