MOYER, ELENORE – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elenore Faith (Hart) Moyer, which occurred on January 28, 2023 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born 1936, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Rita (Wilson) Hart.
Elenore worked as an X-Ray Technician for many years and was known to many as “Chick”. She enjoyed her pets, knitting and crafts and traveling.
Elenore is survived by her loving husband Dawson Moyer of 53 years; son Christopher Moyer (Gillian) of Windsor, NS; brothers Allan Hart (Nancy) of Quispamsis, Russell Hart (Marilyn) of Saint John; sisters Beverly Campbell (Robert deceased) of Saint John and Elaine Moyer (Dallas deceased) of Saint John; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her parents, Elenore was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Burns (Norman deceased).
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, visitation will take place from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 3, 2023, at St. Mary’s & St. Bartholomew’s Church. Interment will at the Lorneville Community Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Elenore may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
