American supermodel Kristen McMenamy is not the first beauty to fall victim to a theatrical fall on the runway, and she certainly won’t be the last. Dressed in an ankle-length sheer skirt and pink gloves, the 58-year-old model swayed in her high heels before giving in to gravity and dropping to one knee on the runway.
Although members of the audience were quick to come to his aid, McMenamy dealt with it by removing his shoes and walking the rest of the way in bare feet. In several shots of the moment, it is clear how the model walks with the high-heeled shoes in her hands, then finally throws them down on both sides of the catwalk in annoyance.
