(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 17 – “Read the doctrine, it’s all written there”. So Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov answered a question about the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons in the conflict in Ukraine, after US President Joe Biden warned Vladimir Putin about it, asking him “not to”. Ria Novosti reports it.
The Moscow doctrine provides, among other things, the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the event of aggression against the Russian Federation that jeopardizes “the existence” but also “the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state”. (HANDLE).
