Last minute covid: They warn of a new side effect within 24 hours of receiving the Pfizer vaccine

The European Pharmacovigilance Committee (PRAC) has reported a new side effect related to the Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine against Covid-19. It has been observed that dizziness is one of the side effects that can appear within 24 hours of the injection. However, the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (Aemps) has classified it as an “infrequent” adverse reaction.

The PRAC has also reported a new side effect of the Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) vaccine. This is cutaneous vasculitis, an inflammation of the blood vessels in the skin that can manifest itself in the form of a skin rash or as small, flat, round, red or purplish spots under the surface of the skin, or also as bruises. The European Pharmacovigilance Committee has certified “that there is a reasonable possibility that the occurrence of cutaneous vasculitis may be related to the administration of Vaxzevria.”
