The Energy Secretariat, through the Hydrocarbons Marketing Department, made official this Saturday the new fuel price structure that reflects a reduction for the third consecutive week.
The superior gasoline that is quoted at 103.03 lempiras will experience a reduction of 1.21 lempiras, so its new pump price will be 101.82 lempiras per gallon.
For its part, the gallon of regular gasoline will suffer a reduction of 1.10 lempiras so that its new pump price will be 93.03 lempiras.
Meanwhile, the diesel that is quoted at 90.16 lempiras will have a reduction of 0.15 cents so its new price will be 90.01 lempiras per gallon.
The gallon of kerosene will have a reduction of 0.11 cents so its new price will be 71.77 lempiras in the plaza of the Central District and its surroundings.
LPG vehicular gas will get a reduction of 1.42 lempiras so that its new price will be 48.15 lempiras per gallon.
The new pricing structure will take effect at 6:00 in the morning from Monday 5 to Sunday 11 November.
The increase in the production of the three countries with the largest oil extraction in the world, to make up for the deficit generated by Iran, due to the sanctions of the United States, has caused the price of crude to fall this week.
