Watene-Zelezniak denies that a culture issue is behind his sudden exit and says he still supports his former Penrith teammates.
"I can not speak for the other guys, but personally it did not affect me at all," said Watene-Zelezniak on Thursday.
"I firmly believe that people make decisions and draw the consequences, people make mistakes, I've made mistakes, and I've always been educated not to judge.
"Look in your own garden before judging someone.

"I was there to support the boys and still is. They have made some decisions that affect not only their lives but also their families, and they have learned from them.
