ONEE: “The System Operator” Receives ISO 9001 Certification Again

Rabat – The “System Operator” of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) has successfully obtained the renewal of the ISO 9001 certification 2015 version of the Quality Management System (SMO), congratulates the Office.

Following the audit of its managerial, production and support processes carried out from June 17 to 19, 2020 by an internationally renowned firm, the Quality Management System (QMS) of ONEE’s “System Operator” obtained the renewal of ISO 9001 version 2015 certification, the establishment said on Tuesday in a press release.

“The System Operator” is the management of the establishment responsible for “National Dispatching” and represents the nerve center and highly strategic which oversees the conduct of the entire national electrical system as well as the control of all electrical flows and exchanges between the energy production centers and the distribution centers for customers, reminds ONEE, adding that the “System Operator” also manages international electricity exchanges through interconnections with neighboring countries.

“This new success, which comes in a very difficult context due to the coronavirus pandemic, comes as a reward for the considerable efforts deployed by the ONEE to guarantee the sustainability of the QMS and testifies to its high capacity to meet the requirements of its customers. and achieve the operational objectives of the Office’s strategic directions ”, concludes the press release.
