Pokémon GO is one of those mobile apps that always have new content every month. Thousands of gamers have enjoyed the special catches of the Pokémon Tour Hoenn 2023 and now it’s time to welcome March and all its special events. Through the official blog of the title, the developer shared the details of the Capture Objective.
“It’s time to play Fighting-type Pokémon and test your skills in the Capture Target event, featuring Hitmontop, Hitmonlee, and Hitmonchan!”, Niantic details about this special event that will highlight Fighting-type creatures.
This event has been scheduled for March 5, 2023 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. In wild encounters it will be Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. These two will appear more frequently and if you are lucky they will appear in their shiny or variocolor form.
- You will be more likely to find the Shiny version of Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Hitmontop.
- Double XP for catching Pokémon with Good, Great, Excellent, and Curve Throws.
Field Research Tasks
As detailed by Niantic, gamers will have tasks focused on throwing Pokéballs. Upon completing Field Research tasks, Hitmontop will appear as a reward (he will also appear in his Shiny or Shiny form).
As expected, the appearance of creatures in the seven kilometer eggs will also be modified. Tyrogue, another Fighting type, will be the one to spawn from the eggs (he will also spawn in his shiny form).
Linking with Pokémon GO Plus +!
With Pokémon GO Plus + you can play Pokémon GO without having to look at your mobile all the time. You’ll be able to throw Poké Balls at wild Pokémon automatically, as well as spin PokéStops to get items. In addition, you will also be able to switch between Super Balls or Ultra Balls with the press of a button.
By pairing Pokémon GO Plus + with your Pokémon GO, you can perform special investigations to find a Snorlax in a nightcap. This Snorlax sure sleeps a lot more soundly than his regular counterpart. Why don’t you find out for yourself?
