At home, this car debuted in the summer of 2019, and in January 2020, a Russian certificate was issued for Chinese-made cars. However, only now has Geely announced prices for the restyled crossovers. Dealers will start accepting orders on June 29, and the start of sales is scheduled for August 2.
The updated Atlas Pro has changed noticeably. The front part of the body is completely new, the radiator grill has become larger, and the hood is more prominent. The taillights have acquired a three-dimensional pattern, in addition to the bumper, the shape and opening of the fifth door have been changed: the threshold has become lower. The interior has also been redesigned: the front panel and center console are new, the screens have become larger, the automatic transmission selector is now non-locking.
In addition, the Geely Atlas Pro has a completely new powertrain that the Atlas does not have. This is the first model with “mild hybrid” technology in the mass segment on the Russian market. The crossover is equipped with a three-cylinder turbo 1.5 (177 hp, 255 Nm), developed in conjunction with a subsidiary of Volvo, as well as a 48-volt starter-generator and a compact lithium-ion battery. The electric motor works as part of the start-stop system, gives out an additional 50 Nm and helps in the first seconds of acceleration. The transmission has a seven-speed “robot” with two wet clutches and a four-wheel drive with a clutch on the rear axle. Acceleration time to 100 km / h – 9.9 s.
So far, only two rich equipment levels have been announced. Flagship equipment includes six airbags, ESP, dual-zone climate control, “leather” interior, electric driver’s seat, heated all seats and steering wheel, virtual instruments, media system (12.3-inch screen), engine start button, keyless entry system , contoured interior lighting, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking system, fifth door servo, electric handbrake, full LED optics (with automatic high beam) and 18-inch wheels. And the Flagship + version also has a panoramic roof with a sunroof.

The pre-reform Atlas will remain in service for now, because it has less powerful engines and simple configurations. Now the prices for these cars are in the range from 1.4 to 1.9 million rubles. But the gradually updated Pro version will acquire more modest designs and will completely replace the current Atlas in the Russian range.
