Riga players beat Elektrēni “Energija” from Lithuania at home with 6:4 (3:2, 1:0, 2:2).
Elvis Kaimiņš scored three (1+2) points for the winners, defenders Krists Apsītis (1+1) and Gastons Georgs Grundmanis (0+2) scored two each.
Jānis Auziņš saved 17 shots in the “Prizma” goal. Donats Kumeļusks scored two performance points (1+1) for the opponents. Emīls Ezītis and visiting goalkeeper Martins Petjuls were recognized as the best players in their teams, who saved 19 of 22 shots during two periods.
HS “Rīga” defeated Jelgavnieks 4:3 (1:0, 0:1, 2:2, 0:0, 0:0) in the shootout.
